Briefly and honestly: we collect only what we need in order to answer you. We sell nothing and pass nothing on for marketing.
Who handles your details

We have no data protection officer and, under Article 37 of the GDPR, we do not need one: we carry out no large-scale systematic monitoring and process no special categories of data.
What we collect
Only what you type into the form yourself: your name, your telephone number, optionally your e-mail address, roughly when you would arrive, how many of you there are and your message.
If you telephone us or write on WhatsApp, we note your name, your contact and what we agreed. We do not record calls.
Why we process it, and on what basis
In order to prepare an offer and answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not use your details to send offers, newsletters or advertising. If we ever wanted to, we would ask you separately and you could say no.
Where it is processed
The form is handled by our own server, which sends the message to our e-mail address. Your details do not pass through an external form service and are not transferred to third countries.
If you stay with us, the law requires us to register you with the operator of the complex and in the eTurizem system at AJPES. That is a statutory obligation and does not depend on your consent.
The tax authorities may see your details where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted at the latest 24 months after the last contact.
Details of completed stays are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
At any time you may ask us to tell you which of your details we hold, to correct them, to erase them, to restrict their use, and to give them to you in a readable form. You may also object to the processing.
A call to +386 41 568 433 or a message to catez.apartma@gmail.com is enough. We answer within one month.
If you believe we are not handling your details properly, you may complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, gp.ip@ip-rs.si.
Cookies, tracking and advertisements
This site uses no cookies. We use no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel and no similar trackers. That is also why there is no cookie banner — because none is needed.
The advertisements on this site are plain images served from our own domain. They carry no scripts, they do not follow you and they do not know who you are. If you click one, you go to the advertiser's site, where their rules apply.
We do not embed maps or videos as windows from other companies, because those would load their trackers onto your device. Instead there are plain links, which you open yourself.
The only thing stored in your browser is what you choose in the toolbar at the top of the page: text size, quiet mode and stronger contrast. Those settings stay on your device, never reach us, and you can remove them by clearing your browser data.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only your host has access to the e-mail account that receives enquiries. We do not leave paper notes with guests' details in view.
